Philosophy comes from the Greek words philo (love) and sophia (wisdom).  Love of wisdom is a noble aspiration but does not imply wisdom is effortless to attain.  Loving wisdom is easier than obtaining wisdom. 

After nearly forty years of independent philosophical study, I am writing essays and stories designed to teach others the knowledge I have acquired.  I am also working on two book-length works, the first a collection of modern philosophical essays and the second a historical novel based in ancient Greece.
